Together, members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of The American Legion and the The American Legion Riders make up what is known as The Legion Family. All these organizations place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.

COMMANDERS CORNER
We had a nice December and part of January, but looks like more
is coming down the pipe in the future. I don't know but I've just about had
enough already and I can't wait for spring! In the meantime, there are a
few events coming up at the Post in the future that might help make the

CHILDRENS EASTER PARTY
The Children’s Easter party will be held at the Post
March 23rd from 11: 00 AM to 2:00 PM . We are in need
of volunteers to help. If you have some time, even if just
30 minutes, please stop by the Post and help us with hiding
Easter Eggs and/or helping keep the children safely back
from the lake front. PLEASE sign your children up for the
party no later than March 12th. DRESS YOUR CHILDREN ACCORDING TO THE
WEATHER, THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE PROGRAM.
DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERAS THE BUNNY IS
COMING. There will be snacks for the children (Snacks only). Doors
open at 10:45 A.M. Candy donations are needed. Please
donate only individually wrapped candies. This program is
for children and grandchildren of the Post, please no nieces,
nephews etc… as we are a very large Post.

Remember the American Legion is the largest voice in America helping
our vets. We need that voice more than ever as our rights
and benefits seem to be only a single stroke of a pen away

Ladies Auxiliary
January and February are busy times of the year for graduating seniors. It is time to apply for scholarships! The American Legion Auxiliary offers several scholarships with deadlines
coming up March 1st. If you know a High School Senior that is in need of financial aid for
college, please have them contact their school counselor who should have the information for
the Auxiliary scholarships.........Read More
