| American Legion Riders |
Welcome to the Fox Lake American Legion Riders Group page! Regular meetings are held the third Monday of the month starting at 7:15 P.M. at our Post Home 703 N HWY 12 Fox Lake, IL.
The American Legion Riders are a diverse group of motorcycle enthusiasts sharing common goals. All are members or spouses of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and Sons of The American Legion—and all are united by patriotism.
They answer the call to ride in service to America’s military, her veterans, and for the children and youth of our country.

RECENT NEWS
Post 703 AL Riders were not discouraged by the heat,
humidity, hot asphalt or slow parade on the
7th of July as they rode in 98 degree plus temperatures
for the Annual Fox Lake 4th of July Parade. A warm
thank you to Nancy, Tom, Brian, Cathy, Pete and son,
Anthony (ground photographer) and Commander
Working for their Unwavering Support and
participation.
On14 July, members of 703 ALR (Dale, Brian, Anthony
and I) again chanced the heat, humidity an threat of
storms and also did a first.. We joined and rode with the
Warriors Watch Riders to welcome home 5 US Marines
recently returned from deployment. And at the same
time we escorted the newly married CPL n Mrs. Chris
Otto and their USMC Honor Guard that consisted of the
remaining 4 Marines. The precession started at The
Abbey in Lake Geneva, WI and arrived in Crystal Lake,
IL with both police and fire department personnel as
escort. We wish them all the happiness possible
The ALR has 2 events for the month of August. First is
on 11 Aug where the Post 703 ALR will lead the
Lindenhurst/Lake Villa Villages' Hero's Parade. Second
we will be Lead Honor Guard for the Children Of Fallen
Riders Run on 26th August starting at Port of Blarney to
Player's Park South (formerly Lumpy's) and then back to
Port of Blarney for continued festivities.
